The location is right in the side of the road, making the waterfall is able to attract the attention of tourists both local and foreign tourists. The waterfall is included in the conservation area Anai Valley nature reserve, but unfortunately the nature reserve is as if hidden behind a big name Anai Valley Waterfall.

The beauty of the panorama emitted Anai Valley Waterfall with "natural image" is still beautiful to support an increase in visits of tourists to the area of West Sumatra,. Therefore, the West Sumatra Provincial Government through the Department of tourism attractions set Anai Valley Falls as one of the icons of tourism in the province.

Clear water flowing down the hills towards the slopes, then flow continues to pass through a nature reserve Anai Valley before arriving at the edge of a precipice. From this cliff, the flow of water and then plunge into the bottom of the valley which has a height of about 50 meters and formed a crater sump. The water coming down rapidly one after another and splashing water mist. The mist form a cluster of beautifully colored when illuminated by sunlight.

On the right and left path, travelers can witness the verdant valleys and hills overgrown with various trees. Along the road ahead Anai Valley Waterfall, tourists can also watch the monkeys that roam as if happy to welcome the travelers who come from far away. It is also not much different from the existing atmosphere around the attractions, where hordes of monkeys are also a lot of running around.

If tourists start the journey from the city of Padang, the trip can be reached for more or less 1 hour using public transport, it costs around Rp 15,000 to Rp 20,000 per person (August 2008). In addition to public transport, rail tourism can also be an alternative.

Along the road in tourist sites, there are stalls serving food and drinks, as well as various souvenirs typical of West Sumatra, such as Keripik Sanjay, rendang rice, galamai (dodol), and various other souvenirs. For tourists who do not have time to prepare food just before going to this attraction is not to worry, because among the many stalls that lined the road there are several restaurants serving typical dishes of the cuisine of Padang.

Waterfall iconic Lembah Anai even West Sumatra is located on the edge of the highway, and is known as the Waterfall Valley Anai.
While two other waterfalls covered by forest cover, thus not known by many tourists. For tourists who want to see the two waterfalls, can travel about 15 minutes from the location Anai Valley Waterfall.
The travelers who are curious about the panoramic beauty of the lake also can be watched by traveling approximately 15 minutes from the edge of the highway.
However, although not had time to explore the protected forest Anai Valley, tourists can enjoy the charm that exist outside the visible from the highway. In addition Anai Valley Waterfall break through steep hills and fell right on the side of the road into a scenic feast for the eyes.
From the side of the highway can also take a look Batang Anai River water flowing from Mount Singgalang on the north side, and creeks from Mount Merapi. Anai Valley scenery quite alluring. Not hard to find a tree with a trunk of a circle well. Tree roots that dangle we can enjoy in front of the eye.
In the midst of lush trees and winding road, we will see it anyway railroad runs between the hill, just above the road. Very interesting and fascinating. Contours railway bridge in Lembah Anai will remind us of the same bridge in Purwakarta, West Java, if we cross the highway Cipularang.

There are several trains in Lembah Anai bridges, one bridge 50-meter steel plate which is very high because it must traverse forests and Batang Anai Valley Anai underneath. Although less neglected because it is not used, this rail line is still intact physical form. Reportedly, the train line at Anai Valley will be revitalized. Hopefully soon realized.
If a visit to the Valley Anai, you should do when the rainy season. Says Minang, Sungai Batang Anai was temperamental. Although pretty staring eyes, but very fierce when it's angry.
When the heavy rains come, the water not only overflow overflow into the street, but also knock down the wall if its power is being maximized. So, do not be surprised if the traffic on the line was suddenly jammed for kilometers if Batang Anai was angry.
So, if the intention of crossing and enjoy the Anai Valley, came when the weather is friendly.
